Laura Avetisyan

Starting at an early age Laura expressed an interest in art. During her student years, this talented artist participated in several art shows. These shows included group exhibitions in the Republic of Armenia. expo – 67 in Canada, Germany and Russia.
From 1968 until 1990 Laura taught art at the Terlemezian College of Fine Arts. 1972 she became an active member of USSR Artist’s Union.
Currently, Laura is residing in Los Angeles. In 1991 she participated in group exhibition in Fresno, CA dedicated to Armenian Culture. Later, she had her works is played in the 7th Art Expo exhibition in Los Angeles. Laura Askanazi. Avetisyan held an individual exhibition in 1993, in Boston, MA. Three years later, she had another successful exhibition at T. C. A. Beshgueturian Art gallery in Los Angeles, followed by many successful solo exhibitions n New York, NY, Detroit, MI, San Diego, CA, San Francisco, Los Angeles, CA, Yerevan, Armenia and a group show in Paris, France.
