Simon Samsonian

Armenian artist Simon Samsonian showed a predilection for the visual arts from an early age. Inspired by nature and the people around him, he began to physically manifest his interpretation of our world. Samsonian’s work often focuses on the strength of individual lines and the harmony found when they are balanced. In 1972 the France Amerique described his pieces as representative of “symbolic cubism.” His work shows the hand of a highly skilled artist working in conjunction with extraordinary concentration.
